The shed for is for storage, typically off-season or seldom-used items.

The winter tires for three vehicles were eating up a lot of space.

Tire racks went on sale a few weeks ago, and I bought three. Finally installed them, and I'm really pleased with them - they've freed up a lot of space. I should have taken a "before" photo.

That's it? My one shed is metal so not as sturdy to hang. It does look nice though. Next shed I'll make walls higher and maybe hang shelves like that.

I have 2 stacks of 8 each and 4 underneath the one shelf next to them plus a donut from Pilot.

This was tire change day at end of March.

Nice! Looks like Nokians.

I would not fully inflate those tires, especially the ones at the roof. Two years ago, I had two snow tires which were stored on a loft near the roof of my shed. I inflated them to 35 psi. prior to storing. Because of the high heat at the roof , both tires blew out.

If you filled to 35psi at 32F , then at 160F the tire pressure would be 45 psi. Healthy car tires should have no trouble with that alone, but if you add a bunch of solvent vapor, then maybe you found some mix that degrades rubber fast?
I try to bag snowtires and then store them in my more ventilated and cool hoop tarp shed. High temperatures and high vapor pressure of whatever evaporates off of gas, paint thinners, pesticides does degrade rubber and plastic eventually in my wooden shed.

I guess not quite - I have a set of winter tires I picked up on giveaway day a few weeks ago. The tires are the right size for the Mazda5, and I suspect would perform better than the disappointing Kumhos. I'll measure the BCD, and that's correct will try test-fitting one to the car to see if the hub bore is correct. If so, I'll have another set to store.

There's also a set of worn-out winters from the delivery vehicle from Jr's business - they're outside for now.
