will these work for my vehicle?

I'd consider getting some universal ones from Walmart, DT, etc... they're rubber stems and can be programmed in house. The metal ones corrode and can be a problem later down the road. I know programmed and installed it's 30 a wheel at Walmarts Auto Care center.

These are for late production 2006 and newer models (built after 09/2006). They will work with your vehicle provided they're programmed for your vehicle.

The part number for earlier production 2006 models is 40700-CK001/002. I'd personally verify part numbers with a local dealer in case there are application abnormalities such as steel wheel, alloy wheel, 15", 16", etc.

Also, note that these OEM sensors DO NOT include the exterior washer or nut. Those are sold separately and I don't recommend reusing your old ones. These are the parts that corrode so replace them with each tire removal or sensor replacement.

As for rubber vs aluminum stems - I prefer aluminum in areas that are not susceptible to corrosion (no winter road salt or ocean salt air) and I prefer rubber stems for areas that are susceptible to corrosion. Speed ratings are different for rubber vs aluminum but a Nissan Frontier of any vintage or flavor is in no danger of exceeding the lowest ratings.

So, will they work? Yes, provided they're coded for your specific model year. They don't include the nut or washer so you must buy them separate. If you buy them and they are not programmed for your vehicle and you have communication problems then you're going to have to pay either a dealership or a good shop with the proper tool to program them.

Going to a tire shop such as Discount Tire or America's Tire might be a better option unless you have the proper tools.

Looks like those are 1.5 years old maybe? Better be a good deal.
Good point and in fact, they could be even older (unless you see a date - I didn't look), i.e. "NOS" or New Old Stock. TPMS are generic parts today and quality, reliable aftermarket ones are available from Continental, VDO, etc.

Just curious, but how long did the old ones last before giving up the ghost?

I got OEM ones for my toyota a few years ago for even cheaper

https://www.ebay.com/itm/393543517114

sure :sneaky:

Here is a video about the Ford ones (but other cheap ones advertised as OEM are likely the same)

Also, since your car is a 2006, you don't really need them. TPMS wasn't required until 2008, so you can either pull the bulb or just put duct tape over the light :D

So they lasted for 22 years? That is a pretty good run. Did you swap tire sets seasonally or were these in constant use for that whole time? How many miles before they failed?
no didn't swap the tire sets, one ran one set of wheels. 119k miles
