In my house we use those big 2-1/2 gallon laundry detergent containers for clothes, the type that have a pushbutton nozzle. When empty and cleaned out they make great containers for washer fluid, engine coolant or anything else where you have to mix a batch, might use large amounts, and need to be able to pour accurately. They last a long time and don't leak, and also are space efficient in your garage.
For washer fluid, I add a BMW "boost" product to off the shelf stuff, hence the need to mix. Being able to mix a large amount at a time is helpful.
Oh and I used to balk at paying $2.77 for the Prestone de-icer wash fluid until I realized I was filling my gas tank every week with stuff that cost even more!
