Time Magazine person of the year is....

Remember, Time Magazine's 1938 man of the year was... Adolf Hitler. Enough said.

That choice abided by the dictum of TIME founder Henry Luce, who decreed that the Man of the Year — now Person of the Year — was not an honor but instead should be a distinction applied to the newsmaker who most influenced world events for better or worse. In case that second criterion was lost on readers, the issue that named Hitler dispensed with the portrait treatment that cover subjects typically got. Instead he was depicted as a tiny figure with his back to the viewer, playing a massive organ with his murdered victims spinning on a St. Catherine’s wheel. Underneath the stark, black-and-white illustration was the caption, “From the unholy organist, a hymn of hate.”

I think I came across ambiguously. My point was that today's hero could be tomorrow's pariah.

Funny thing about Musk is that is seems both the conservatives and liberals don't like him.
It’s almost like you can like things from both sides, but neither side likes that because “you’re either with us, or you’re against us!”

I like him, he didn’t like the status quo so instead of giving up and joining them or just endlessly complaining about it, he did something about it. Seems like he gets a lot of flak for that alone under a myriad of excuses.

Time magazine must not have any journalists left. Elon musk runs a company that EVERY product created has been late, they still can't get vehicles to have consistent quality. The goofy cybertruck was push back again. Oh yeah winter of 2022 production. He picks fights with people for no reason, but when people push back he hides behind Twitter. His humor is childish at best. He runs a cult that produces vehicles. He makes blanket statements that smart should absolutely run away from. Let's face it he claimed in 2017 he promised that "a model s will be able to drive coast to coast without any help". Didn't happen.

Can't put my finger on why, but I can't help but think he's going to end up like this.

Tesla, SpaceX, etc. Elon Musk has certainly changed the world and disrupted business like no one since perhaps Jobs and Wozniack.

Neuralink is my favorite Musk endeavour. Neuaralink aims to create a neural link between brains and computers via high-bandwidth brain implants. The company's first goal is to help quadriplegics interact with digital devices like computers and phones.
The correct first goal should be porn, period.

I do hope Neuralink will help save a lot of people with disability, regardless of who makes it possible he or she will have my respect.
