Timbrens on rear of Tacoma

The Tacoma pulls light single axle trailers often. Like it's larger 1/2 ton brother's, a trip to heb makes the rear squat. I have them front and rear of the F450 and absolutely love them. Anyone run them on the smaller trucks?
It's my 23 crew cab ultra short box.

Timbrens won't help with squat. They help with bottoming out.

Depends on what you want. If your just trying to deal with the bottoming out - then Timbrens make sense. If you actually want to level your truck when loaded you need air bags or AAL, but both those will make your empty truck ride a little harsher.

I have airbags in my Frontier. I like them, but I am willing to add and remove air as the load dictates.

Timbren and SuperSprings are current customers of mine, I used to work for Hellwig so I have a little bit of experience with all of them, and I sold airbags with Hellwig (now discontinued) and currently sell a line of them in my current company. If they are set up right, the Timbrens will stop squat, they are a great value in my book. So will Hellwig overload springs, and they are fairly ride neutral if the preload is set right. Airbags are great if you carry variable loads and you want it perfectly level every time.

Sumo Springs are the answer you seek.
