What about skunks?
We have some in Western WA, but they're not highly prevalent. I've never heard of anyone around here who's dog had been sprayed.
Our dog used to see a skunk mother followed by her kits and go for them, not in a hostile way but more out of curiosity. The skunks ambled across the back yard in no particular hurry, not too worried about this 130 lbs dog.
I was fortunately able to restrain the dog from trying to check out the slunk families up close and personal.
Should have stopped there.

She has beautiful colors! She’s a tortoise shell cat and she has the sweetest temperament of any cat I’ve ever known. Her official name is Autumn but we always call her “little kitty” insteadLike the color patterns

Edit - yes, I have a radar detector in it, it has a gps speedometer I use. The speedometer reads slow, all I know is a hair past 2,000rpm in 5th is 60….. it’ll be reading ~53. Most of the time. Somehow it counts mileage accurately though

Some think they can talk... the one we had when I was a kid would bawl us out when we would come home for not taking him along. Woo-Woo-Woo! He was sweet as could be... until you tried to give him a bath and then his inner rabid timber wolf would come out.
