Taken about 10 years ago on Vashon Island while we waiting for the ferry to arrive. My two sons, my two nieces, and me.

True. In my early youth there was no such thing as a color television. Also too, you could buy record albums ("vinyl" to you young folks) in either "mono" or stereo.

And further ramble, when the Doors came out with their song "Light My Fire" I was was positively certain they were going to be one of those hit wonders band.

My dad had a decent stereo system for the day. Early 60s

The bummer is- for a supposedly cheap guy - quite the jazz record collection. I never had the chance to ask him what he did with his records. They were not in his house. Brother didn’t know.

Huge bummer for all that vinyl to go missing. I have two large boxes of vinyl, including the debut Doors album, a Beatles Sergeant Pepper album in PERFECT condition (it even has the paper picture insert that came with it), as well as many other notable bands and labels. Want the Bob Welch era of Fleetwood Mac with the original, full length, uncut song called "Oh Well" - it's in one of those boxes.

One of my missions is to sell these to a good home.

I think he may have just trashed the vinyl. Ugg. Oh well
