Boston Navy Yard 1943.

Iowa class battleship USS Iowa (BB-61) in the drydock. Iowa had run aground during exercises and was put into drydock for inspection of her hull, screws, and rudder.

Essex class aircraft carrier USS Bunker Hill (CV-17). She was built at the Fore River Yard nearby.

Baltimore class heavy cruiser USS Baltimore (CA-68).

One Fletcher class destroyer, five Benson class (?).
French destroyer Le Fantasque is also present - at 434’ almost 100' longer than the American DD’s. She joined the Free French in November ‘42 and was refit in Boston 21 Feb ‘43 until 25 June.
