Because they want everyone to start with clean socks, and they want people to wear socks with the grippy spots all over them so people don't fall.

Got more done on the deck. All new joist and covered them with joist tape. That stuff is really cool and hope it makes a difference. I went through 16 rolls of 2"x50' rolls.
