The hospital provides socks with non-slip tread, as pictured, to decrease/prevent falls. Also, seeing your coaster with the location on it, that’s a little less than an hour from me; small world.

Life Flight departs Lewis Gale Memorial Hospital in Salem Virginia 12/8/24. Rare to see them at this hospital as they mainly airlift patients to our main hospital Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. In this case they airlifted a patient out of this hospital.
Critical care transport to a tertiary hospital likely; always cool to see nonetheless.

I almost got to be airlifted one time as a baby but they decided to take me by neonatal ambulance to the other hospital after my major seizures. Had they airlifted me I could have said I’ve flown in a helicopter before haha. I got to sit in one of these at our local touch a truck event. Pretty cool inside and cool to see as well especially at a hospital they normally aren’t at.
Nice! Yes, very interesting setup I agree. I flew with our local flight team, once, when I was determining if that was the path I wanted my career to take. We picked up a patient for a critical care transport, several hours outside of Pittsburgh, and flew them back to one of the tertiary hospitals in the city.
My wife and I rode in a helicopter on the Canadian side of Niagra Falls. Can't remember what it cost but it wasn't out of reach.
That is the Timbertech Coastline Advanced PVC decking. I put 40 of the 20' boards up on the deck so when I get started I don't have to keep going off the deck to get them.
