I found a what I consider to be a nice little vintage tool watch for my wife. She has a "small" Fortis Flieger but sometimes she thinks it's too large so this should fit the bill with a case diameter of 27 mm. Made by military supplier Sinn in Germany with a Swiss ETA 2678 automatic movement. Anti-this and anti-that. 200 m WR, screw-down crown, titanium case and H-link bracelet. Has a timing bezel with lume pip, date and day in German, and C3 SuperLuminova lume. This model is ca 26 years old. Some signs of usage, has been serviced and runs great. I hope she'll like it. It's for when she's knocking about the trail or in or around the water. If it bites the dust it's no great loss.

My brother spent Saturday searching for gas (post Milton). No one had any fuel; he ended up 6 miles from home at Costco in Clermont, FL. He then went to Discount Tire to get some new rubber for the 2021 Camry (Michelin Defender 2). Third set of tires at 108k miles. Yeah, he's hard on cars in general, but he gets over 400k miles out of them.

The extent of the damage to his house from the hurricane.

My brother in-law lives in Sarasota, across the bridge from Siesta Key, where Milton made land fall. He didn't evacuate; no damge to his residence. I think most people in Florida don't get too excited about hurricanes. But they totally freak out when they experience a California earthquake.
