The original Breitling logo was Breitling spelled out below the letter B. The anchor and wings were added in 1984 when Breitling made their comeback after a rough period during the quartz crisis. In 2017 Breitling decided to ditch the anchor and B and started using only the B and BREITLING. The current Breitling logo has been the AOPA logo without the AOPA lettering. since 2018.
The 1984 Breitling logo was much nicer in my opinion. It was the B with an anchor through it flanked by a feathered wing on each side. Breitling adopting the AOPA logo makes little sense to me. Breitling has been around since 1984 and AOPA since 1939. Breitling says because the Navitimer was the official watch of the AOPA they now use this logo on the Navitimer.
The only Breitling watches still featuring the 1984 version of the logo are the watches in the Professional line. I'm glad my Navitimer Cosmonaute and Chronomat have the 1984-type logo.
I use that ashless oil for top lube. Goes in ODPE at 128:1 Used to work well until some Chinese Rui X ing carburetors came along ...

Unpleasant job, at least for me, E92 H8 angel eye bulb replacement. Wires all brittle and insulators cracked off once touched.
Same as in 2016, I cut my hand and dropped the bulb into the housing. Unlike 2016, I didn't curse nor panic. And yes, it can be done in 10 minutes, if you spend the day before practicing with the old bulb (it can, once you are familiar). I was checking the H3's and the only way to do so is headlights on. I always loved the 25,000 volts sticker and the stick figure being electrocuted

I’ve never driven that one but have driven a C7 base manual. I liked it and definitely prefer the C7 styling. For those who want the sheer performance of course the C8 makes a lot of sense. Don’t prefer the looks….
I remember my Bally Total Fitness days when I lifted. A C6 Z06 parked in the cross hairs like you see in your pic. Took up 4 spaces. People on purpose parked right up to it. What a disaster and yes I was snickering

Backing out of garage I put windows down to listen (in case of any obstructions etc—small packed garage).
When I went to put up the passenger window the switch broke. Dang wth.
$210 list, $156 Autohaus AZ OE (FCP $189 there is a price imho for lifetime), $70 used, $23 on Amazon from the XtremeAmazing store?. Ordered and installed, good as new. Feels the same, mirrors work, mirror fold, both windows part and full auto, and they light up red too. Once in a while cheap deals rock

I can’t help it: your cats are adorable. Always liked Siamese; aunt had 1 and she was lovable and very quiet.
