That's OK. The resistance might end up soldering the copper wires to the lead post anyhow, permanently fixing the problem.

yes. Cote Nord is a very remote area of Quebec that is along the St. Lawrence River. sparsely populated. they have snow sometimes in May. i have done the entire road trip to Kegaska. it is neither very cold or hot because of the enormous influence of the St. Lawrence River. lots of hydro electric dams. including Manic 5. my niece lives there with her husband and family and i visit them often.
