Avis preferred booth today at Salt Lake City. The booth was a zoo at 1030pm yesterday, and a zoo again today. This is off peak for SLC, disappointed to see this.

Too positives, the Chrysler Pacifica I was given was a nice ride except excessive road noise making a Bluetooth conversation on Android Auto at normal highway speeds very challenging. And slc airport rental car center is the very best in the USA for pick up and return of a rental car of any major USA airport. As long as the rental company can perform.

The second picture is the avis terminal rental counter, also a zoo. The other slc rental counters have very small lines. Look like a leadership issues at slc Avis

That's insane. Another reason I don't fly. I never have any line at all at the door to my car.
I only drove 28 miles. Avis has a policy if you drive under 75 miles they charge a fuel surcharge, unless one can prove they purchased fuel. Of course, I purchased fuel, and confirmed with the return agent that I purchased fuel and showed the fuel receipt.

In the airport now, Avis did charge me the fuel surcharge anyways, and to add insult to the treatment, marked that I checked out with 18.6 gallons, checked in with 17.5 gallons. The car was not topped off when I checked out, was topped off when I returned the car. Not nice business practice from Avis. I am knowledgeable on all these tricks- and they still got me......

There has never been a better time to start a business than today in the USA. When almost every company, from Fortune 500 to small businesses continue to exploit and screw- a honest business person has great future opportunity. Of course, the challenge for any startup business is barriers to entry, restraint of trade, and unnecessary government regulations.

Got to use 0W-8 today for the first time. 10K service on a Toyota Crown and a complaint of vibration while at high speeds. Balanced the tires and changed the oil. It takes a regular Toyota N1 oil filter. Anyone want to guess the price of this quart of oil? If you guessed $20 you are correct. $20 a quart customer price. Of course Toyota pays for the first few services but I’d hate to see the cost for the customer after the free oil changes run out.

I'd be switching to a 0W-20 from Walmart.
