View attachment 179106Here is a throwback. I went around the house and gathered all the flip phones i could find. I really wish we were still in the simple times. I had never seen a smartphone till middle school when I showed up with my flip phone (the third one over from the left) and then everyone laughed at me because I didn’t have a smartphone I asked them what a smartphone was because I had no idea I had always rocked a flip phone and iPod Touch. We have always been behind on technology advancements except me who likes new iPhones lol. The smartphone pictured here was my parents first smartphone they both had one. Not sure where my dads is but that one was my moms it was their first smartphones because Verizon was practically giving them away as they weren’t selling they are LG Spectrum phones. I also found a Nokia brick phone not too long ago that my niece and nephews play with it was the phone they had when I was born lol. I just think it’s cool to see old relics like this. I can’t believe that the iPhone came out in 2007 that’s crazy because despite only being 5 years old I remember a ton from 2007 and just remember how simpler it was because you went into stores and restaurants and people weren’t glued in their phones they may have mad an occasional call or text but they weren’t surfing the internet or attacked to a game. Such a simpler time. I first seen an iPhone in middle school so about 2013 and I thought it was a brand new concept then lol. I’m just so interested in the past times. I’m 21 and have had a phone since 2013 always the same number and never broken one. Now you can’t activate any of these as they are all 3G except the LG Spectrum smartphone. I’m sure by now most of these have been recycled or thrown away. The US Cellular phones were my parents second phones after the brick phones so circa 2005 or 2006. We switched to Verizon in 2007 and my dads number would not transfer and he was bummed lol. His number back then was carrier locked into US Cellular. We actually texted it about 5 years ago and it belongs to someone else now who was really friendly and we had a good conversation with.
My parents keep them around as “extras in case something happens to ours” personally in my family my sister is the only one who has broken a phone lol. She has broken every single one that she has owned with the exception of the last one and the current one. She lost her first phone the second day she had it back in 2007 lol. Dropped it and it fell in the road drain things. Gosh what i would do to be the age I am now but go back to a simpler time.
Not sure what that could be. I honestly don’t even have a clue haha. I’m guessing you can educate me though lol.I had a few of those! Do you know what the shiny thing is next to the camera lens on the Motorola and the two US Cellular LGs?

Wow definitely not the answer I was expecting here. I was expecting like a speaker or something. Guess I was way offIt's...and I'm not joking here...a selfie mirror!!![]()
Maybe that's where the hitman in Bullitt picked his up..
As you await the latest iPhone like it's Christmas in September, lol.Gosh what i would do to be the age I am now but go back to a simpler time.
I drove an old Chevy truck like that during wheat harvesting time on my grandfathers ranch. Had a 6-banger and split rear end in it. Had big side boards on it setup to haul a big load of wheat. Use to take the combine load into the truck while on the move (if the field was level enough) so the combine didn't have to stop.Farm day. While fam is enjoying the bouncy house, barbecue and corn maze - I'm over here drooling over old rigs.

True lol. But I would love to just go back to a time before smartphones evolved. Had they not taken over our lives things would probably be better. I read an article about flip phones coming back. Personally I see that as highly unlikely but I guess anything is possible lol. I just know that now I’m too evolved into Apple to go back to a dumb phone but i could easily go a day without a phone or at least a smartphone. I’d love to see how some people in my age group would fare for a day without their phone. They would be going crazy lol.As you await the latest iPhone like it's Christmas in September, lol.
They may actually talk over the phone one day and have real personable social skills...True lol. But I would love to just go back to a time before smartphones evolved.
