Natural stone will outlast concrete. In my area there is a town that was built around a slate quarry. The sidewalks are slate as are most roofs on the older places. The walks are probably in about the same condition as they were in the 1800's.

Twice in four days in two different continents I have come across a big roach in the bathroom. This picture taken moments ago at a Admiral Club at DFW.

This makes me want to always eat and sleep in my own home and bed.
