Had them in some college rentals…seem to get really hot…I also grew up with them in our house in Baltimore. Great even heat. No drafts. Just don't smash your head into one.
Maybe that be my problem
Those are just starting to get stylish.

Here is the before and after on one of my baseball gloves. I sent 4 off to be redone to someone on another forum. This is the first one he completed. It really conditioned up well and looks great restored. Beforehand the laces at the bottom you could just touch and they would fall apart. We estimate this glove to be from the mid to late 50s probably. No markings on it as to what brand it could be. I am ordering some laces and tools tonight I’m going to try and do a few on my own. All credit for the photos and glove restoration goes to member BigLeagueSmoes on Garage Journal.
I can’t wait to post my other gloves I have some pretty cool color lacing going in them.

And then there is Spartacus. (I feel like I'm picking on him because somewhere in the last 6 months he got so fat he can't really fly all that good.. so he is the easiest to catch, along with my oldestbirds, Petals. They say the English budgies die first; he's old and not as spry as a younger bird, that's for sure, but he's still healthy and I hope they live long happy lives.)
And FWIW the cats and the birds are kept.... separated.
Here is Spartacus (and yeah, those are my car's OLD seats. Not sure anyone would ever want them but.. if you do, DM me. They can be parted with. I have leather seats now. The driver seat.. okay yeah just let me know.)
I get the impression you all like Spartacus (bird) and possibly even Snowball (cat. Old but hanging in there.)
