Mother’s Day cookout. Nice private farm that my sister is good friends with the owners of. I’m a little mad because steaks and beer were promised but we didn’t get either of those. I don’t eat burgers but I’m going to eat one to be nice. I wish there was beer though no cookout is complete without beer lol. Could use an ice cold Yuengling right now or Coors Light.

Burgers are steak in a different delivery system. Just be glad they aren't giving you Bud Light and have a good day with family.

Not everyone can afford steaks for all. You could have brought some or went out and got some. I doubt they would mind.

Booze is a touchy subject. But you could ask and if they are okay with it you could get some too.

Get togethers are all about being with people you like and meeting others. Sit back and enjoy the beautiful day and be happy you are not at work today for once.
I would be thrilled to be there.
It looks like a great place.

These opportunities disappear quickly as you get older. Don't get mad, appreciate what you have today. Good times don't last forever. And you can poo poo me for this subtle diatribe and I won't get mad.

Shhh! Blake couldn’t bring beer as he blew his $200 “bonus” on Chinese foood Friday and yesterday. So he resorted to whining like a spoiled child today. He’d not be welcome at any get together of my families. Especially if he’s acting like a rude whiner.

I do appreciate it Jim. Just it is annoying when someone promises something and doesn’t live up to that promise. I’m not mad about anything. I let them drive my car here lol. And I am mad everything got messed up in there because it needs to stay in one spot but I’m not letting that affect the cookout. I brought the lemonade too. No way i could afford steak for everyone but I offered to go half on it.

So, your dad or mom “promised” something and you didn’t even think that their money is tight or they maybe couldn’t afford something?!?! My mom or stepdad would whip my hind end if I acted like a whiner child that you are. I mean what I said: CHEROSH your MOM&DAD!! I never borrowed or asked for “promises” when I was your age. I am ashamed of you Blake. Just cause you don’t “get your way” you whine about it.
