In a recent thread, people were shocked by the prices of mulch at their local building supply stores. With the recent rainfall a good number of our huge trees fell and have been chipped along the roadside. I see many piles of wood chips all over the Bay Area. I already picked up 50 lbs with the SUV. I knew that shovel in the trunk would come in handy eventually! I look for the finely chipped stuff in the countryside.

Not my picture, but a sandwich from Manny's deli in Chicago. I have been to Manny's during the two years I worked in Chicago --quite an interesting place. Very pricey, but huge portions and high quality.

Fire in a local state forest. Saw flames through the treetops, but didn't catch any as we got closer. The approach had us in the plume for a ways to the point where the cockpit smelled like a campfire

Some beer at Kroger. Don’t see anyone buying the blue packs lol. Was there on Monday and Bud Light was in the exact same place lol. Give me Coors Light or Yuengling. Budweiser is ok too but not now. Busch Light I don’t care for. Michelob is ehh. Miller Lite is good.

Us (older) hosers are bilingual, eh! C to F, kg to lbs, cm to inches, metres to feet, kph to mph, l/100 km to MPG (Imperial), easy-peasy both ways. The ones that elude me are KPa to PSI, and N-m to ft-lbs. I use the Imperial measurements exclusively there.
