Partial credit on being a double digit model..

Driving it for ~45 seconds? Easily in Too 10 of smoothest. Top 5, really. Mazda. (Toyota influence, as of late)

Decided to go ahead and turn off Passat lady's CEL again. Just to do her a solid.

I discounted the 30 because it said very new and the 30 is the oldest of the double digits. I had a 30 for a year. Sold it to get my Escape. So I figured 50/90 and 90 is newest so go with it.

My birthday quilt that grandma dropped off today. She said sorry for the delay. She was waiting on the material to come in. This is wrenches 🔧 , nuts and bolts 🔩. Homemade quilts are the best. Better than money or anything like that because it’s a memory you will always have. She also dropped off one for my mom who has a birthday on Friday mom got a lighthouse on hers as she loves lighthouses. I love a homemade quilt. I am thankful to have a grandma who can make cool stuff like this. She is always very creative in her designs too and has done some very impressive ones.
Nothing better than homemade quilts. My birthday present for my wife "the avid quilter ".
Just finished putting it together yesterday.

I also had a 79 Mercury Monarch two door. Some kind of sport edition. It had really nice wheels and part vinyl roof. Six banger automatic. Sold it running at 160,000 miles. Sent the head out once for valve guides and general re-work.

Ours didn’t have any vinyl on the roof or nice wheels from what I remember. It was blue, it had hubcaps, and like yours, a straight six with an automatic. We sold it in 1988 after my Mother passed and it was still running well at that time. I don’t remember the miles, but I know that it made two trips to Tulare, California from Arkansas, plus plenty of other little road trips.
It seemed, from what I remember as a kid and teenager, to be a trouble-free car.

After seeing the old green Saab recently I went and looked for what I could find in my attic. You really don't want to know what's in there. Like I said the other day, I'm not an expert on Saab vehicles, so I'll let @ShelB help with identifying the exact model numbers. These are H0/1:87 scale models, each about 1-34" long.

Proof that a Saab can go anywhere! 🙃

Here is a vehicle making my job difficult, yet again. They should move it around 8 or 9
