I should have invested in cheddar cheese rather than the market.
I was lucky enough to see these race in 76 and 77 at both the Canadian GP at Mosport and the US GP at Watkins Glen.
At the Canadian GP in 76 Patrick Depailler finished second to James Hunt. On Depailler's cool down lap he stopped on the track.
After the other car had passed I was able to get on the track and put my hands on the wing of the P34. I guess the reason was so 46 years later I can say I touched a piece of F1 history.
