Big plate haul today. Some Alabama plates from a lady on Facebook who is a collector and wanted to send me some. The apportioned plates are noticeably more heavy duty than the regular plates. The old style Kansas plate and the California set is from eBay. That’s the last set I need to complete the lipstick font run. And then a stack of 60 mostly new Kansas license plates. All the flat style. The only Kansas plate I had before these is my great uncles license plate which was on his truck when he passed and I asked to have it and got it so it’s really special to me. My mom said she was ready to kick my tail when I told her I spent $100 on the stack of 60 Kansas plates. I won the auction lol. They were trying to get it to $110 but nobody touched triple digits besides me. You never realize how heavy a stack of license plates can be till you carry it from your living room to your bedroom lol. Some of the Kansas ones I believe are RV plates since they say RV in the corner.
