Saw a Buick Reatta. Never seen one before.

Traditionally a bible can be used for popping that kind of cyst. I can see how a masonry hammer will work just as well. Well done.Old school healing, had a ganglion cyst on my wrist used my masonry hammer to wack it, cyt is gone & I can move my hand a lot better plus no Dr visit

The first car with a touchscreen!
I was at the Toyota Automobile Museum today outside of Nagoya, quite an extensive collection and some beautiful cars. Some of my favorites were this Chrysler Airflow, a Tucker, first year Valiant and an old Previa van. They had a ton of cars from the 1890's to the 2010's that probably had a lot more historical influence, but these were my favorites.

The original Toyota - an automatic sewing loom - is at the other museum in Princeton Indiana. The first production Sequoia as well as Highlander and Tundra (1998! I believe) is still there… they had 4 in the main atrium up until the beginning of 2022. One is a nice Forest or Emerald Green…

Could be ?? And certainly not implausible, as my particular automobile is kind of famous for that.. though my engine has not yet had those signs and likely had a head gasket replaced just before warranty was up, is the only thing that makes sense to me. When I see the signs, I know what to do and I am ready. But none yet.
As to your question, that car had seen EXTENSIVE:
- Decarboning efforts.. a variety of ways
- Extended high speed driving, quite a few 12 hour plus drives at the faster side of highway speed.
- Idling.
- that sensor may have been original, I don’t remember it ever being given attention.
Mechanic said:
1. “stuff was coming out of it” (tapped it to show me. Looked like sand.)
2. One wire was almost burned through.. said he didn’t like how it looked overall.
3. Base seemed burned black, possibly with oil.
Could be catalytic converter material, engine crud, actual carbon, actual sand… oil fouled, high speed glazed version of an O2 sensor, I haven’t seen any internal nor external coolant leak although. Could be almost anything else.
Car passed inspection yesterday, didn’t even bother to change the upstream although I now have it.
