With Pablo showing all his fine dining... My wife's lunch at the Hacienda de Sol in Tucson. Her lunch was as good as it looks - which was fantastic! The entire facility was great.

We were there to visit the Pima Air Museum. My Dad served in the 8th Air Force, 96th Bomb Group out of Snetterton-Heath. Check out the losses. The 8th lost 4,754 B-17s during the war. My Dad always remembered the raid on the ball bearing factory in Schweinfurt Germany. Soemthing like 330 B-17s were sent but only 200 returned. Hard to imagine.

Got to see The Dad yesterday, and he let me see this hat he got from a real Camp Lejeune Marine. Said you can't buy these in stores.

So.. I'm not even sure what this is .. "Tony Bandalos" Master class or something? that keeps turning up whenever I go through my old stuff and not sure if it has any value. But I do not want to toss it. BITOGers get first dibs.

This is a hard case with like 30 to 50 CDROMs in it.. some kind of paint or bodywork tutorial?

Since it has become clear to me in the last 10 years that I will not be painting, spot welding, rust repairing any cars.. someone can have this, if they want.

I really need to make a thread in Items For Sale of some things I can safely say I have and will never use.. but for now. Here is the pictures of what I am describing.

Monticello- Charlottesville Virginia. Home of the third president and man on the $2 bill and nickel, Thomas Jefferson. This is my third time visiting. First time doing the behind the scenes tour. The behind the scenes tour is worth it you get to see the bathrooms, upstairs, downstairs and dome room. And all the regular stuff. Also went on the garden tour as well. Great trip I love history related stuff. Our tour guide was excellent. The gift shop bought some of my $2 bills because they haven’t been able to get them from their bank so they can’t follow their tradition of giving them as change. I pulled a couple out to pay with and the young ladies eyes got really big she said oh man my boss will be so happy do you have anymore of those I said yeah $200 worth the boss came said we will take $100 worth if you don’t mind. I said sure. My dad paid with some as well. They aren’t technically supposed to give out circulated ones due to various reasons they told me but they could make an exception because they couldn’t follow tradition without them at all. And some of mine were uncirculated too.

More pictures to follow over the next few days.
