Left North Carolina this morning at 8:45am. Got home (Illinois) at 7:30pm. 650 miles. That's getting it done, son.

When we went down last Wednesday, it was 101 in Kentucky. Most of the day, it was between 95-101 degrees.

Went to the house we have for sale to address a few issues. The septic inspection left a mess in the middle of the driveway, the home inspector broke the screen the covered the air conditioner, and the deck contractor that has yet to finish the job left a pile of food container trash near the deck. Removed a temporary staircase a prior occupant installed without permission and the deck contractor failed to remove. Not a nice impression for the home inspection last week. Also replace the guts in a Koehler toilet.
