The Fallout game series has been around for decades. The aesthetics of the show are very well represented by the show. I'm really impressed with the style - sort of post-apocalypse meets 1946 Popular Science "How You Will Live In 1971!" meets The Jetsons.
He tells me that particular style (a mid-century vision of the future) is popularly known as "Atompunk".
