My 2003 BMW E46 330Ci ZSP with 5-speed manual on the Big Sur coast at Pacific Valley. I was making a solo trip to Nepenthe for lunch. Car is 19 years old and has 95K miles on it. I am the original owner and special ordered it from the factory - no sunroof. In this picture I have the OEM BMW Style 225M wheels on it; 19x8F, 19x9R with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires; 235/35F, 245/35R.

Beautiful car. Probably the best looking generation they ever made. And special ordered to be the best unit of that generation.

Thank you. LDB. Here it is in the California Valley with the BBS CH/Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 package. This is a square setup with 19x8.5 and 235/35 on all four corners. This tire wheel package is 7 pounds lighter per corner - enough to be felt.

After years of having two wheel sets (BMW Style 225M and BBS CH), I'm still not certain which set looks better. That said, probably the BBS. They look classically German.

Surf conditions weren't great yesterday. This place is often packed with surfers and surf kayakers. The fog coming in looked picturesque, though.

I decided to have some Peruvian food for lunch. Do you guys like octopuses? 🐙

The fog/the marine layer was coming and going all the way down to Pigeon Point. Foggy one moment,. sunny the next.

On the way back I saw the aftermath of an accident that involved three or more vehicles.

What a gorgeous canine!

Edit: Have you ever noticed how you can point at something and a canine will look to where you're pointing? Just one of the many things that illustrate a canine's considerable intelligence.
Thank you. I haven’t tried that with him yet, but I’ll give it a try.

I like the look of the OE style wheels better. The BBS are very nice, too.

vavaroom, I like how you get out and enjoy our beautiful state.

If you haven't already, make a trip out Malo's direction to see the giant sequoias. 3,000 year old trees. You can sense the planetary existence in them and they have a way of making a person feel rather insignificant - like you're visiting their far away world. There is a powerful spiritual vibe to them, almost God-like. All you're able to do is stand there, slack jawed, and admire them in incredulous amazement. A 3,000 year old living thing!
