Thread for photos that 100% do not violate any Terms Of Service, not political, not too lewd, no gas price pics etc.

Wild idea. Don't use the phone where there's no service. No roaming charges. Voila!!!
Well if it’s like the old days then you still get charged for even being in the non service area whether you are using it or not. If it’s connected to the tower you get charged at least it used to be I’d assume it’s that way still now. They used to charge the heck out of us when we would go thru a no service area even if not talking or texting or using data. It doesn’t matter to me though cause I don’t pay for it 😂.

Turn off data roaming and don't make or accept calls when you are outside your service area. Or put the phone in Airplane mode. Also, find out if you even incur roaming charges domestically. At a minimum, you get a certain amount of roaming included in your service plan which should give you enough time to track down eggrolls.

Better close the fridge door, you'll run up long distance charges 🤣

@AutoMechanic , there's almost no domestic charged roaming fees for voice/data

What's your carrier? Down where you are you'll need all the roaming partners you can get
Verizon. We have always been charged for roaming. Is it a thing of the past now? Kinda like how they used to charge to talk to someone with a different carrier lol. But that goes way back. My mom used to yell at me when I’d talk to my AT&T and Sprint friends haha 😂. Back when we had US Cellular they would always charge us for it for even being connected to another tower because my dad always had to have them remove it where he is a trucker. Phone companies will get money anyway they can lol.

Unless you have a truly ancient plan, Verizon hasn't charged for domestic roaming in literally decades
You being in VA, you may intermittently stray onto US Cellular or AT&Ts network
Might be a little slower, No HD Voice, but it'll get the job done
But domestic roaming is free
You may also see "Extended" up by the bars where Verizon normally is, that's a good sign of a regional carrier

Wow lol. Mom has said for years oh they charged us for roaming again lol. She probably doesn’t read it and it be something else. Still makes me wonder why they want $300 something for 5 lines all paid for and unlimited. We got the unlimited plan in 2016 when we all got smartphones so not too old.

My Tello costs $25 a month for unlimited everything. I have 2GB data and unlimited talk/text for $10 a month. Both plus taxes and fees. So 5 lines unlimited $125 a month.

Solid message
10/10 I approve wholeheartedly 👍
I've been to a few different NYE functions, and it's not always fun being the bad guy and wrestling keys out of people's hands 😳
But someone's gotta do it 😔
Then I usually see them a week or so later, they apologize, and pay me for the ride or Uber bill
