This particular car, a 2006 Impala, isn't that bad overall, it's still in good shape structurally. Once these components are replaced, the massive oil leak is fixed, and it gets new brakes all the way around, it'll still make a good, cheap car for someone. Well, if they don't turn their nose up at a gold Chevy Impala. (Everyone wants a cheap car, but nobody wants to drive a cheap car.)
Its massive oil leak is from the oil filter housing. It has created a film of oil and grime underneath from the front of the engine to the back of the car. Maybe that helped with the overall rust protection.

2013 Mercedes Bi-Turbo V8 with DI. Not sure how many miles (est 100K ?), but in any case the intake valve deposits are horrible.

It was as nasty as a babies diaper that leaked- if you remember those days. Had no idea a banana split open and allowed to be crushed and then sitting in a bag for 36 hours would cause so much damage. That banana leaked all over the place.

I worked with a guy who would not eat a banana until it was black. He paled in comparison to the guy who ate chicken beaks and feets in his noodles. Then went on to a better place to work and there was the guy when he ate his chicken ate it bones and all.
