The worst for us? ca 2002 or so. I5 south Thanksgiving day. Fast lane. Kids and wife in 1996 Volvo 850. ~70MPH.
Broken edge of license plate frame from some beater. Punctured sidewall of front and rear left tires. Car didn't jerk real hard, but I got to the right really quickly. Stuck with a single spare. Car towed to Les Schwab left out front of store - tow truck guy gave a lift to motel, no charge. Stayed in motel over night. I think we ate the food we were bringing down. Friday had to buy new tires.
Mostly I was amazed how a piece of pot metal could puncture two tires.

I should take a pic of our neighbors although his is the opposite. He's been taking off the front tire and leaving it jacked up.. guessing repo prevention.
