Well, I went to one, not sure which location, in 2009 or so when I was up there. It was interesting, and maybe not GOOD but it was good. I'd go again based on that. Might decide otherwise then though.
Is this the plant's flower or is this plant fasciated? I've seen some weird fasciation ranging from tumor-like growths to flower-like appendages and outright Resident Evil-looking things. Plant did a weird thing v.2. Not a cactus but a succulent Stapelia gigantea aka Carrion flower
It's the flower that grows out of this succulent type plant. I've posted past bloomings here.

Cool. I had a cactus that got a flower every 5 years or so. Eventually, it developed rot and died.
Earlier today our 7-passenger enclosed pick-up (a.k.a. '07 Grand Caravan) carried three 4x8 sheets of 1/2" plywood and 25 8'-2x4s. This thing is practical.
My inner child is geeking out at Hobby Lobby, while wife is checking out holiday stuff...
I wish I could find a Checker Taxi in good condition. I love their size and simplicity. I'd just restomod it with a reliable power train (like a 2JZ in my current daily) and just daily it forever.
