This Italian Borsalino hare-and rabbit fur felt fedora has a pretty short crown that is tapered. The front pinch is very high and sharp. The brim has a very subtle swoop and is slightly upturned in the rear and has a slight snap-down in the front. The has a teardrop crown. The still shown is from Casablanca but Bogart wore a very similar fedora in The Barefoot Contessa. I myself prefer a taller crown with no taper, a tight pinch all the way to the hatband, a crown with a center bash, and a more swoopy snap brim, grosgrain hatband. Aussie Akubras are a great value. It can be bought with an open crown, unabashed and unstyled. Still quite affordable at $150 and up. If anybody wants to see my hat I can take a picture. 🤠

Nice old Beaver. A little rough.

Very rough.
It will someday become my semi retirement 'getter done ' project. Hopefully complete it before I die 😁😁😁

It flew here, landed on my hay field on its own.
Used my pickup to tow it to its resting place.
It is a complete tear down and rebuild, not a refurbishment plane.

The old lady deserves to fly again. 🤞

Midway between Fort Scott and Pittsburgh KS. a couple miles down a country road are Chicken Annie's and Chicken Mary's, two definitely different and both delicious interpretations of fried chicken. I think they may be family or former partners that had a falling out and thence two restaurants within stone throwing distance. Not sure there's many places anywhere to get better dinners.
I've been to Chicken Annie's if memory serves, and it was absolutely delicious. Have some friends in Pittsburg, KS and it was a must-stop dining location.

City needs to hire some new lighting planners, lol.

Well to be honest, being able to see where you’re going on the paved trail at dusk/night is a lot easier than seeing where you’re going from the tree line after a pee. It would be a shame to trip in a hole climbing that embankment.
When you gotta go, you gotta go. Nobody wants “uromysitisis poisoning”,….just ask Seinfeld. 🤔
