Transmission lines from Bruce.

Bruce B, 3,440MW original nameplate:

Further away where the lines from A and B are joined and the various corridors cut through the countryside:

Fun fact:
The plant originally lacked sufficient transmission capacity to cover full nameplate. They would routinely do maneuvers on a given unit to keep the output down at the level the lines were capable when sufficient capacity wasn't being diverted to the steam plant. It wasn't until 30 years later that the lines would be sufficiently reinforced to handle the output of the facility with the addition of the Milton Line (double 500kV circuit).

Interesting chart. I'd like to know which specific model of each brand is highest and lowest. And without including every model it's only worth entertainment value. While I'm no cheerleader for MB the 2 models represented may be their worst and second worst models making it irrelevant.

LDB,

Yes, the chart is interesting. As I took a closer look, I wondered why Ford and Lincoln would have such a spread, as their vehicles typically come out of the same plant. Only thing I could come up with was Lincoln doesn't offer trucks or economy vehicles. Maybe that is where Ford is having its reliability challenges (trucks and economy cars).

No idea why MB is the lowest rated- maybe their customer base has the highest expectations?, or can't figure out all the tech in a MB...... Beats me.....
