And this is the female. Apart from the brow ridge, the female has a darker and more mottled crown. There are differences in the markings on their beaks as well.

Except when a few of the Eaglets don't make it for various reasons - the sad part of nature. I'm always rooting for the last one hatched because they have a tough time getting fed due to the one or two bigger ones in the nest. Just a few days in hatching apart in the early days can make or break the last one hatched to make it or not. The North Eagles never have 3 eggs, the the other pair has had many 3 egg clutches as you know if you've watched them for years.

That was exactly the case with Sweetie and me.
