Thread for cool and unique cars you came across that are for sale

Must be a newer engine.

Not sure if it’s true, but my grandpa used to swear that some old car used a roll of toilet paper as an oil filter. Not sure if he was pulling my leg or not.

I've heard of the TP thing too, but I think that was in the 40's. That engine sure looks original and ad claims it's numbers matching. I didn't think spin on filters were really a thing until the 60's.

Friend of mine just bought this:

I think it is pretty dang cool and he's been looking for an unmolested one for a while.

There's also a pretty cool VW there.

Shows how many people want to be seen as "rich"
I have a Navigator and I get a lot of compliments for it, but, I could care less. I was looking for any Expedition or Navigator that fit my criteria. Actually next time I will probably stick to a base model Expedition if I buy another one - I'm 6'7" and don't like sunroofs. I have to put the seat back more than I would otherwise for a comfortable seating position. Plus all the extra added electrical stuff is just a problem waiting to happen.

Leather seats are nice moreso because it's easier to clean them up. But I could care less if they are "luxury" or not.

I was referring to the Rover and people paying for the illusion. Old Navigator is a solid buy.

Fairly recently I knew of an early Acura NSX (love those things), an AH 3000 (OMG) and a Lotus Europa (other worldly good).
Not sure if these fit the bill, but good thing I have no space and money for such treasures.
