Thoughts on oil/OCI for Ford 6.2

What oil and OCI would you guys recommend for a Ford 6.2? It gets driven roughly 30 miles a day (2 15 mile round trips) with about 100 highway miles on the weekend. Current fill is Mobil 1 5w20 with about 6000 miles between changes. Does this sound reasonable?

You could easily follow the OLM and go 7.5-10k.

Ford's recommendation for the 6.2 is 7500 miles with 5w20 so 6000 will be fine. Once out of warranty you may be able to go further depending on the oil.

I would follow OLM with Mobil 1 5w20

I didn't even know it had an OLM. I'll have to do some tinkering with it and check it out.

I do 7500 - 8000 miles with my 5.0L using SOPUS oils or discounted Nextgen.

Checked out the OLM. It has 19% left so there is still a little time yet. Probably going to give Pennzoil Platinum a try since it meets Fords M2C945A spec and Chryslers MS6395 spec for the Jeep. Now only 1 brand of 5w20 needs purchased.

Quaker State Ultimate Durability would be a good choice for both as well. Used up the last of my Quaker State Ultimate Durability on the Jeep last oil change, and PP just went in my 5.4. Both will be on PP for a while since I have 50 quarts of it on hand from the clearance at OReilly's.
