Had them (MONROE)on a Dodge Caravan many years ago and they didn't last long.
The ones on this car have 97,000 miles on them and they are not completely shot, but I can push it down by hand and it comes back slowly. Other than that. they are fine and worked well for the whole time I have had them. They are the Monroe-matic plus variety. In so far as the reviews I see of struts on the internet, there seems to be a great deal of bias on favor of stiffer struts, but I prefer the softer ride of the Monroes because where I live the roads suck. If I had gotten more expensive Monroes I would be able to use the Waranty, but at the time it was Monroe-matic plus or sensa-tracs and I an not sure if I really want sensa-tracs. In so far as them leaking or making any type of noise these Monroes never have and neither have the ones I put on other cars.
