With it being so warm lately I guess I prematurely decided that winter was gone.

I swapped out the studded A/Ts on the Cherokee for the MTs (They are horrid in hard packed snow and ice).

Got tired of driving in 50,60 degree temps on the Winterfarce tires since they are ... squishy ... when its warm and I'm on the highway.

I put the stock, bald tires back on the car while I try to find a place (NOT Walmart - they'll ruin my TPMS) to mount / balance my new tires.

Flip on the news today and ... 2 inches of snow tomorrow along with some sleet.

Should have expected this in NY ...

Oh well.

Bummer. We have heavy rain coming, then it dries out and then we have a night of freezing. 'tis spring!

Drive safe. We're further south than you, so the snow /sleet here is supposed to be little to no accumulation - but for two weeks every time I went to take them off it was "possible snow this week". Finally did it a few weeks ago and have been thinking to myself as I pass cars in the parking lot "Why do they still have their snow tires on" (It was high 70s here Sunday).

I switched mine too and we're also supposed to get a little bit here.

Hoping that whatever we do get, the like new Michelin Primacy's do OK. I mean people go all winter with half-bald all seasons. I should be OK with like new in a couple inches of slop.

Its all your fault! Had you kept the other tires on, none of this would be happening.

Supposed to slightly snow here this week too. The greenry is even coming up in the woods so I guess that'll get killed off as well as our morel mushrooms.

I think it is my fault! Things were going well (80, sunny) and I come along and make it snow again!

I get very angry when people drive in the snow in bad tires. These ones qualify as very bad. Insides are 1 or 2 32'' of an inch. Outsides are 4 or so.

There is a set of brand new all seasons in the trunk of the Focus! I'm sure that counts for something!

I have my spare car still wearing snows. Haven't driven it in a couple weeks.

What gets me is cars going by with studs, they sound like dog toenails on a hardwood floor.

Right or wrong, I simply drove all winter with bald tires--they're getting real fun now in the wet. Well, I drove the truck when it snowed; that just has new a/s not snows.

That reminds me, I really need to go tire shopping.

I pulled my snows and threw the summers back on the Jeep in mid-March. It's been fine, except for that one freak storm a couple weeks ago (I just stayed home). Hopefully it doesn't do much this time...

I have a feeling this is going to be a bad summer. There won't be very much of spring before its 90 and humid outside. It looks very strange around here. Lawns are showing some green, it was 70 yesterday, yet all the trees are still bare.

Looks like some kind of wasteland.

I'm hoping we do have a warm summer and not one where it rains every day. We've had those in the past. Didn't care for those much!

Humidity is bad, though. I can't deal with humidity and have to run A/C.

If it really is a hot summer, National Greed will do their best to raise rates through the roof.

So Miller88 is the one that's brought this weather in on us!

I've kept the X-Ice's on my Camaro because there is always a mid-April snow in Michigan. Maybe this weekend I'll switch to the Conti DWS's.

This is why I always wait until the ground/pavement is WAY too hot to support snow before switching over, even when I ran 'real' winter tires which would 'burn up' on warm/dry pavement.

This ear it does not matter much since I am running the BFG Super Sport all seasons as winters, which are VERY good in the heat/rain, and 'driveable' in very light snow.
