You might as well try the 15w60
your clearances are likely widened quite a bit. If that don't help i would try the valvoline maxlife 20w50 mentioned previously. Or a seal swell additive to mix with your oil.
Who knows you might patch it up enough to squeeze another 40k miles or something. If not a rebuild or a new ride is coming.
