So, I also called today to ask about this, and they told me the same thing. I hope this settles the Prestone All Makes/Models vs. Prestone DexCool controversey for once, and for all.

I guess it depends on to whom you spoke. An earlier inquiry by another BITOGER (not myself) resulted in a response that, other than marker dye color, the products were the same. I have no problem believing both you and that other forumner. In any event, I doubt whatever differences that may exist will result in problems. There is that matter of the yellow jugs clearly declaring, "All Makes All Models" - presumably that is a blanket inclusion for cars originally filled with licensed DEX-COOL® at the factory, too. (Why is this issue so bothersome to you? Other than the possibility of an OEM warranty dispute if other than orange/red, or whatever DEX-COOL®'s current hue is, is found in the cooling system, it seems to me obsessing over this silly absurdity is about as worrisome as a gnat on an elephant's behind.)

Ah, but did they tell you what the difference really was other than the color of the dye and the color of the bottle?

They said it wasn't just the dye/bottle, it was an entirely different formula.

Their advertisement on the website, the flash presentation, sounds as though its an entirely different formula. Not sure if they'd bother with all that trouble if it wasn't.

So far, its working great in the Saturn.
