There are three engine internal cleaning products that people seem to respect at this web site. One is Auto-RX, another Neutra, and the other is Lube Control. Which do you use? If you could use just one which would it be?

Never messed with Neutra, but AutoRx and Lube Control are so different in the usage/application that both are needed, when needed.

If I had a sludger or suspect dirty engine, I wouldn't hesitate to pay the HUGE dollars for AutoRX. OTOH, if you want the best out of your oil and engine, LC seems like a darn good bet.

Lube Control.....of course

I've used the AutoRx on my wifes Saturn SL1. The car responded to the cleaning with in a few hundred miles. We got more power and a possible lowering of oil consumption. Though I can not verify the lowered oil consumption. The second cleaning cycle is now underway.

I've used the LC and FP/SoyShield combo with my VW diesel and the results ( located under diesel analysis section ) indicate lower wear numbers as compared to my straight Schaeffers and SoyShield numbers.

I'm not sure the products are completely interchangeable.

Never used Auto-RX or Neutra so I can't say anything there but Lube Control products have done wanders to my engine.

Thanks Lube Control.
