the OFFICIAL "Advance Auto Parts (AAP) closing" thread ... put ALL deals, rebates, etc here ... (forum rules still apply)

A lot of the clearance stuff is down to $0.05. Order online for pickup and they did nto say anything to me at a few stores.

They also have B1G1 free for Champion brake cleaner. So $2 a can and you can still use the 15% off on top of that. Got about 60 cans for the shop

That's a good deal, no champion brake clean B1G1 in the Laramie, WY area.

Also, online with B1G1 deals, the coupon doesn't stack; it only works for odd-numbered items.

I picked my order up Saturday and went back to the app to see what else they had and now pretty much everything pictured is now a nickel. Those guys I tell ya!

I tried on several devices, Windows and Android, and can't place an order. Tried different networks. AAP's web site is glitchy all of a sudden. Can't even clear the cart to start over. Not sure if others are having the same issue.

For sure on all the nickel items. Works fine for me on everything else. Guess they want people to go to stores instead.

How is this an "official" AAP thread when the name isn't even correct? It's Advance, not Advanced. Are there similar threads for SNAPA, D'oh Reilly, Auto Bone, and Wal-Mort?
Everyone I know calls O'Reilly O'Reilly's. I find it a bit presumptuous to assume a major corporation is so libertarian that its claiming self-ownership. 🤨

Yeah, they "fixed" it sort of. Now you can order most items just fine. Can add and remove items from cart. Web site is not crashing anymore. The $0.05 items are in the "call store" status, unfortunately. I ordered some clearance items via their web site a month or so ago (there were no $0.05 items then) and received a call from the store later that same day. Was told of all items I ordered, only one item and in quantity of 1x was available. The web site indicated much different stock availability. Oh well.

good luck to those who score ANYTHING @ 5 cents. Clown GM's in my area would cancel order and report me in 1 second

NOTE TO ALL ...
We have revised the BITOG rules for this sub-forum, but they still include restrictions against gaming the retailer systems, etc.

Slightly off topic but thought I would throw this out here. Does anybody know if you do a return to Advance Auto that redeemed some Speed Perk points at purchase, does Advance Auto put those points back into your Speed Perks account or they just lost?

I did try and check on their website but only found language of loosing any Speed Perk points earned for the purchase, not anything about return of any Speed Perk points redeemed.

If you reach out to customer service, they will give it back to you. It's not automatic.

In my area, there are a lot of straggling quarts of m1 truck & suv marked down to $2.35 a qt. Jugs are all gone. I missed out on most of them as they were priced at like $27 for a long time and they were gone by the time they got cheap enough for me to buy. But anyway, check online for the qts of m1 truck and suv to see if they are at your local stores for cheap. Comes out to $2.50 a qt for me after tax.

I managed to get 13 of the 5W-30 quarts.
