the OFFICIAL "Advance Auto Parts (AAP) closing" thread ... put ALL deals, rebates, etc here ... (forum rules still apply)

I went back today, the $8.95 Delo 5w40 rang up at $~11 so it stayed on the shelf
Mercon LV @ ~$6 per qt was decent

ATF/Oil Filters were 50% off
Dorman Electrical 80% off
Coolant 40% off

I've got enough fuses to last until the sun burns out

Honestly, oil and filter prices need to come down more.......WAY MORE!! Right now with the 40% its pretty much @ Walmart everyday price level. But at one location the Mexican mechanics are SCOOPING UP all the oil for their chebys and Furds !! :ROFLMAO: 😂

@ Closing stores for my fleet cheapest is a Orange can Fram for $5.XX NO THANKS and fuel filter for $10.......KEEP IT

The BEST thing about all this is that we can use/accumulate speedperks on this clearance even!!! I spent so much $$$ I think i've used $400-500 in speedperks and saved over $2 a gallon @ Shell!!! 2 store managers in my area said I was not allowed to use my speedperks at closing store, But employees(who didn't like there boss or dont care since they're losing their jobs  ) said if system takes it, they will allow it 😁:sneaky::ROFLMAO:

I considered that but 100$ is sorta rough dont need techron for years and their oil and filters are uncompetitively priced.

That's cause that's there standard markup!!! Its been well know for years AAP marks up prices 20%+ on MSRP !!! They are one of the most expensive auto parts stores next to Napa

Prices have to be minimum 60% to make it a deal @ AAP

Meh.....Since Christmas is coming, I'll be a nice "Clearance King" and share one of my "gold coins" ;)

SKU 2080028

But YOU have to do the work and find out what it is @ AAP !!!

Keep an eye out for things that others overlook, I have a sagging headliner to fix and 3M spray adhesive was 60% off normal retail, gorilla tape, etc. Those everyday items are sky high prices now.

Just got back.. I did the blaster pickup-- What an amazing deal!!
then asked what AAP's were closing--
2 hood stores near me were closing.. picked up some OG titanium wire backed media frams!
nothing else was a deal.

The second hood one they told me a 24ft box truck pulled up and stole half their backroom because no one cared... 🤯
neither had any more blaster cans :(.

So while you guys are doing blaster pickups.. if interested ask what AAP's are closing.

Just got back from Westbrook ME, "on the list".

Still some Delo 5w40 gallons at 9.57.

Starters, alternators, brakes 80% off. I can't anticipate what starter's going to go out, so I'm not "stocking up" but if I had a shop I'd grab some common ones.

Filters 1/2 off, still not a fantastic deal IMO

Dorman stuff 80% off, got an oil drain plug for around a buck.

Got my Eledbrock DIY ignition wires for $2.58. For my project Miata if I cut them right that's two sets! 😁

Got a gallon of surface shield and a couple spray bomb cans, so thanks OP.

I was told by an employee that they expect another price drop on Saturday. I've been going nearly every other day; somehow I racked up $40-70 in speed perks. Be aware that you can't add points later with your receipt; must be at the register. I learned that the hard way.

That's what I've been cleaning them out on
Fuse assortments, chemicals, Dorman clips
MAF cleaner is $14+ usually, but at $6 I'll take a few cans

Some consumables are dirt cheap, $12 for a pre mixed gallon of coolant isn't too far off concentrate + 1 gallon of distilled water

Just bought superglue tubes and hand/finger ratchet screwdrivers. Each was .04. The price was .17 for all four items. There is definitely a price where any item will move.
