The Northern Lights from Central MA

I've never seen it this red or bright.

Just drove from Portland, ME to Central Mass...beautiful.

At one point, the deep red became purple/blue. Pic doesn't do any justice.

I'm just west of CVG right now and we're seeing it here as well, since just after sunset.

We were able to see the Northern Lights in North Alabama a few months back. It was amazing!

Weird. A local news report said that they might be able to be seen in Denver.

Must be even better at 35,000 feet in an aircraft.

The waxing moon this week might have something to do with it. Even a partial moon can overpower stuff like northern lights and comets.
