I've been an F1 lover my entire life. I started watching in the late '60s and have been watching ever since. I agree that the engineering in F1 is unrivaled in motorsport, with the possible exception of the WEC. The problem with the incredible engineering in F1 it is it's no longer a driver's championship - it's a constructor's championship. Spec series like NASCAR and IndyCar produce true driver champions.
A picture of James Hunt signing my wife's race program at the 1979 Long Beach Grand Prix. These were the days of screaming 12 cylinder motors, both vee and boxer designs, as well the ubiquitous Cosworth V8s. The scream of the V12 Matra made your hair stand on end.
Also a picture of Tony Stewart and me, without question one of the GOATS in ALL of motorsport. And lastly, a picture of Chip Ganassi and me. We always enjoy a quick chat when we see each other. Yes, I get around.
