The new gas station is open.

A few weeks ago I posted a tongue in cheek pic of the fuel sign where they must have been testing the sign.

It officially opened some time today. The driveway was blocked @7:15a but was open for business on my way home about 5:15p.

I stopped to take a pic of the actual gas prices.

That’s only two dollars more a gallon than the $2.79 that I paid three hours ago

Some of the best fried chicken I have ever had was served up at convenience stores, usually out in the middle of nowhere. Country ham biscuits too. Country folks know how to fry up the feather bird. If the place sells 12 GA. shotgun shells and straight 40W, then their chicken is going to be fantastic.

Paid $1.89 this morning with Kroger fuel points, 70c discount. This month is major RX refill month and meet deductibles month. Next month will have $1.70 fuel points discount.
