Guys you know I work in Missouri right, an ex-Girlfriend of mine worked on the original F15, so yes I’m about 12 kilometers from BOING, they are a Major Employer here !!

I know they can ‘refurbish’ them but it gets to a point they have to retire them.

When I was seven or eight, a friend at school said that there was this type of airplane called "BOING" because that was the noise they made when they hit the ground. Didn't fool me even at the time.

I'm even more of an expert, I've worked in their datacenter, LOL

I still prefer F15EX, fly by wire upgraded avionics and built like a brick outhouse love it plenty of work for local folks here in Missouri
