blauparts had a nice how to + the correct fluid, gasket + filter for girlfriends 08 jetta with that tranny they have been using a while!! in my Bentley service manual for my 2001 TT that used that tranny it showed filling it from the top which i did, engine was warm enough on an 80 degree day as i verified with my VAG program. i found a pic on-line but no luck now. that way after draining only the inner plug was removed to get the correct fill when warm, i think engine needs to be running but its been a while!!! enough searching will prolly find it!!!

Of course it has been behaving fine 90% of the time since it was acting up the other day. So the dealer may not find anything.
