I watched one of my best friends in high school spray himself right in the eye with a big blast of carb cleaner while he was rebuilding the carb on his beater. It went in one port and out another which happened to pointed at his face. I'd never seen him in the fetal position before that. He was washing his eye out with the garden hose pretty quick, and for a long time, but he was giving everyone the stink eye for several days after that. I think of that every time I'm using brake or carb cleaner.
