Funny how they changed it to the House of Windsor to sound less German. Although technically they don't have a last name, I think William has "Wales" on his flight suit.

Yes, good ole Kaiser Bill was a relative of the "British branch" while the UK and Germany were going at tooth and nail during WW I.

yeah, the tradition is to use your father's "dominion"(i guess?) as the surname.
since Charles is the "Prince of Wales". Willam and Harry use Wales as their Surname.
so since William is the "Duke of Cambridge" his children will use Cambridge for a Surname.


and if "Lord of the Dance" were an official title, Michael Flatley's Children would use the Surname "the Dance"

for good reason, they probably were closer to brothers than cousins! (I have no scientific basis for this...)
